Well you should understand that we have absolutely no idea, there's always space on the PC servers, but I don't know how the PS2 system works, what are rooms for instance? And if all the servers are full well you just can't play I guess, I suggest getting the PC version.

I agree, get the pc version. The ps2 has some pros, but the pc version blows it out of the water. The only alright thing with the ps2 version is the singleplayer, which isn't like the pc version singleplayer/conquest AT ALL, its where you stay on waypoints and take out certain targets and whanot. Very different from conquest. As I was saying, the pc version is probobly better in every aspect, the Modern Combat version is overwhelmed with arcade style gameplay, while bf2 is totally the opposite.
I would never get the PS2 edition: No mods. That's like making a sandwich with no filling, just two unbuttered slices of bread. It's not a sandwich.
Battlefield without mods isn't the full game.
It does have a (quite) entertaining campaign. Also you can do this crazy swap thing - so you can be anyone in the army! Its handy because you dont spend time runing about for ages - you just "become" someone already there! But I dont like it that mush cuz im so used to a kboard n mouse. Controller is better for flying tho.
