Which is worse, being a commander with squads who ignore you and walks into your artillery strikes, or being a squad with a commander who gives you no orders or artillery support? (Or does in stupid places)

Well then probably the stupid squad, because they punish you for their mistakes, ths giving you minus points, while the stupid commander just kills you once.

Being in a squad with an idiot commander. Ive had commanders where they will put a UAV on the enemy's uncappable base when we are down to our uncap and being slaughtered! He's usually hiding somwhere in the middle of the map, miles from the nearest enemy, hiding in a corner dropping arty into their uncap to blow up a humvee...

Hard choice but I voted being a commander with stupid squads. I was Commander on Karkand and gave orders to this squad leader that was pretty much just departing our main in a tank. It was the beginning of the round and I was on the MEC team. I had a scan running and could see an enemy vehicle pulling up to the flag nearest our main and so I gave him orders to defend that flag. He replied 'Roger that' and then proceded down a road toward the bridge and then went on his way to the flag closest to the USMC main spawn areas. You know, the flag that everyone seemd to fixate on so much on the Karkand map. Well, the USMC took that flag of course and then took our Main and all the remaining rear flags. Needless to say, we got blown out of the water that round. I was reprimanding that squad after a bit because I was naturally ticked. After a few reprimands, one of the five guys on that squad started to make his way over to the flag that I had given orders to defend, but it was only one of them and it was way too late. He didn't even make over there before the round ended. If only that squad leader had followed orders like he replied he was going to do.

With good squads but a stupid commander you can still win the game, many squads already have a good idea of which flags to attack and defend so even completely lacking in orders they can still win, but it doesn't matter how ogood your commander is, stupid squads will lose you the game very time.

Squads with stupid commanders get more done because its more people doing better things. I just find that better.
