I have had the following: radeon 9500 128 pro Nvidia 5200 128 x800 256 pro 9600 256 xt now then ... I bought the 9500 when it came out. I built a second system to use as a server and ftp ( hence the 5200). I went off and upgraded my current system with an x800 ( right when it came out). Pulled the 5200 and sent it to a clan mate who burnt out his card ( our clan is a sof2 clan essentially). i popped the 9500 in the server, and then purchased the 9600 xt because the 9500's fan burnt out. In all the years i had the 9500, there wasn't one game i couldn't get to run on high settings. Including Morrowind and Farcry. I can not imagine, nor do i want to, what it will be like to be running these games on the cards they have in development. My 9500 was smooth as silk and my x800 is awsome. :D

I love competition! We, the consumer, always win! :) I would go with a Radeon, they have never let me down.

Here Here about competition. FREE MARKET RULES!!!!!!!!! You will hear just as many people swear by ATI as you will swear by NVIDIA. I use an ATI RADEON 9800 PRO128 and i have no problems running BF2 on high settings @2xAA and the game looks beautiful to me! Those breaking news benchmark tests are about as relevant as the fuel economy rating for a Ferrari.
