Ok, here's the official thread for Anime! If there was another it's long dead now... Ok, so I like: 1. .hack//SIGN 2. Inuyasha 3. Rurouni Kenshin 4. Witch Hunter Robin 5. Big O My fav is .hack//SIGN. It's so awesome, I just love that show. Usually it's kindof all talk and no action, but recently it's the perfect mix! Very suspenseful. For those of you who don't know, in .hack//SIGN the story is a kid stuck in an MMORPG. Anyway, now all the characters who normally quest alone are in one big party. The first real battle I've seen was tonight's episode. It was way cool, just like in a real game. Anyway, just post your favorite animes, or maybe we can discuss animes. If it's kindof a rare anime (not on TV much) than give us a little discription!
Have you seen the film Akira? It's pretty good. I have broadband and downloaded it to watch on the computer. It was 135 mb and with broadband took an hour and a half.
Akira was a great anime. Set the standard for its time. I have all sorts of anime, but my personal fav's are Serial Experiments lain, ghost in the shell, Evangelion, haibane Renmei, and Berserk. Of course though, there are to many to list!

hmm... Evangelion is one of my favorites, no doubt. Akira was a great movie indeed. and... some Gundam series... especially the 8th MS Team, Gundam Wing etc :>
Most of the anime I like are the stranger ones like Lain, Boogiepop Phantom and such, or animes with great plots and storylines, like X 1999 and Haibane Renmei. Im not into the romantic comedy type, makes me feel queezy. Saying that Dragonball Z was canny in my younger days, but i hear the english versions do it no justice at all. Anyone seen or heard of Texhnolyze? Im thinking about buying the set, but i cant seem to find any fansubs or trailers anywhere.
Also, was it just me, or did End of Evangelion blow anyones elses mind out there?
