Anyone know if Medal of Honor Frontline will make it to the Xbox?

I've been thinking about buying the PS2 version, but I want to make sure whether an Xbox version is on the way or not, I would probably wait for that instead.

I didn't like it on the PS2 demo I had. I had a really hard time controlling the guy. I must admit that I have only played one FPS ever(all have given me motion sickness). I played MOH on the PC. It was fantastic. I couldn't believe how awesome it was. I wasn't running around at 50 M.P.H...I think it was a slower paced FPS so I liked it or at least I could play it.

To answer your question - yes, Frontline has been announced both for the GameCube and the XBox. EA announced them just before E3 and both are due to hit around December of this year.

Frontline is great and an excellent choice if you don't have a PC that'll run Allied Assault. I agree that it's a little tough to get used to the controls, especially aiming during the Normandy Beach scenes where the earth is shaking due to mortar fire, etc...

I was thinking of waiting till the XBox version comes out, but it won't be till later this year. Of course, it isn't like money's growing on trees right now...I've still gotta scrape together the $50 for Rick for that Game Cube!

Say, Rick...would you take a few DVDs in trade, instead of cash? wink.gif

MOF: Frontline is the most visually striking PS2 game available since MGS2. IGN was pretty much on point in their review of the game, execpt for the visuals.

Just like the PC version, the visuals are awesome but the gameplay is shallow to say the least. It's basically Commando in lush 3D-enviroments.

There's no dynamics in the levels and the physics change per object..glasses break but you when you shoot cans, nothing happens. The missions are awesome but your objectives suck...you basically dont need them since you only have one way through a level and you just happen to bump into big red boxes where you must press X to complete tasks...very bland. The much touted AI is rubbish too. Animation is spectacular though. IF only Deus Ex had visuals like this...

Still, I'd say Frontline is worth getting. The first missions, the beach stuff is frankly put, the ****ing bussiness. Problem is the game, never manages to raise itself to the levels set by the first mission.
