Well, after seeing the costume for Electra I was sort of iffy, but the only reason I visit Aint It Cool News anymore - Moriarty - just wrote up a set visit that makes this movie sound like it could really be good. I really like Jennifer Garner in Alias and I think she's the perfect choice to play Electra, and I'll cop to being one of those guys that sees a shot of the "revised" costume for these characters and groans, till I see it in action and it ceases to really matter that it isn't spandex, etc...

Check out the writeup: http://www.aintitcool.com/display.cgi?id=12422

While I was down from my tap, I watched all 22 episodes of Alias over the course of 2 days. It was freaking killer. I started watching during the season and then lost track about episode 7. I really liked that show.

I didn't really like the Elektra outfit. I agree about that whole spandex thing. Jennifer Garner is just about perfect. Too bad she isn't Greek. I must admit that I am super stoked for this movie.

It'll suck. Just a future prediction on my part. I could be wrong.

Nah...I'm never wrong!

I'm with George--looks like ass, no thanks to the smarmy Affleck who runs on one gear.

Want proof that Affleck is a shallow, one-note actor? Go see "Sum of All Fears." Affleck is surrounded by some of the best supporting actors in the biz. Morgan Freeman, James Cromwell, Ron Rifkin, Phillip Baker Hall--amongst these giants, Affleck makes a muddy puddle look deep by comparison.

Hmmm...I don't care about Daredevil...and I still don't. Hey Afleck you suck.

Speaking of suck, can someone explain to me how Vin Diesel does one crap movie, with his crap acting, and can ask for $12 million a picture?

$12? I thought he was getting $20 million for the sequel to XXX? That's why he passed up Gas & The Fajitas 2.

He's a better actor than Affleck though. Too bad XXX is a movie for 14 year old girls. I'll wait to see him in Pitch Black 2.

I guess I know it'll suck, too...I'm just trying to fool myself into thinking it might be okay. I don't want anything to set back the comics-to-film movement, now that we've had a few real winners made. But f'n Affleck...*Sigh*

I really dig Jennifer Garner, though. She borders on *too* fit for a girl, in my eyes...I don't like it when girls start losing their curves due to muscle. But her face is pretty and that archetype is cool, to me. I like seeing women in film and TV that aren't like, "Oh, save me from my dire circumstances," every time out.

I am not sure there is a *too* fit girl. Well, I wouldn't want a bodybuilder type. I like chicks ropy with muscle..... ahhhhh. I think I just had a moment. Anyway, just remember THAF and everything will be good.
