if you saw the movie you have, hes HAVE to readn the books (too)! They are indeed very cool to read! Some parts where left out the movie (Tom Bombadil for example). The extended dvd shows some more stuff, but still not every part of the books...

thats because the movies will be too long then..they have to do that yeah..the books are always better.
