Eagle Onewell i find that the battles in BF1942 are more intense, like omaha beach 1944 or charlie sector on FH, they are just cool, or arnhem, where a load of tanks come rolling across the bridge an you own all the infantry with a bren, i think it is just a lot better.

he is right tho in bf1942 it had a better set up and was more for team work , now i see in BFV like kids in a chanook by them selfs and a major amount of soldiers underneith the chanook shooting at it b/c they want it to come and pick them up and then one dumbass will just take a rocket and blow it then everyone will wait for it again then the same thing will happen its just that when i thought this game was gonna come out i thought that like you would be moving through the the jungle then all of a sudden a rupture of fire would go off then a huge fire fight would go down but there are just tomany little kids on this game, im not saying that the game is bad its just sometimes u get this one kid who will leave you there and it will piss you off. one more thing that sorta bugs me .....there are no booby traps set like its weird the whole time i have played i have never seen one person killed by the punji sticks i have seen with dynamight but like punji sticks sounded so cool and no one uses that what soever. but one thing in this game that beats it all the sniping is really bad i nailed a guy in the head...nothing then i shot him again and he died 2 shots.... and in the chest 3 shot ....but the games fun only when u find the right server!!!

BFV is ok and would reccomened it if you can puit up with n00bs and/or have a 1337 rig. but if you don't have good comp or can't stand n00bs don't get it.

BFV is as much about teamwork as BF42... if not more.

- You can capture flags faster if you have more guys with you. It even has a TIME INDICATOR (that goes down as more friendly player approach) to let you know that. - Sniper is not the only one who can spot for artillery. - You can shoot out of the passenger spots in jeeps and other vehicles not equipped with weapons.

I'd rec BFV if your system can handle it.

n00bs? Find a decent server with real rules and you'll be alright.

I'd never recommend. The weapons sound so weak and the hitboxes are horrible IMO.

Personally, I loved BF42. I played it from day 1, and then switched over to the FH mod upon its release. That being said, I have almost quit playing BF42 now, simply because the infantry combat is so lame. I mean, honestly, I have to shoot a guy full of bullets (regardless of weapon) in order to kill him? C'mon. One of the good things about the FH mod for BF42 was the one shot one kill concept. Unfortunately, BF42 has no foliage, so infantry cover is either trees or buildings. BFV addresses all of these for me. If you love playing infantry, this is your game. None of the "How big is your tank" syndrome of FH and DC, and all the infantry goodness. The weapons are great, and very effective, once you learn them. Just as an example, 30 rounds of AK = 6-10 kills, based on range. Try that with BF42's STG44. Basically, I would recommend BFV to people that enjoy infantry combat. If you want to run around in a tank and rack up a 40-1 KDR, this is not the game for you. Go play DC or FH. If you want to work as infantry, in a perfect squad level environment, you gotta go buy this one. Granted, there are a crapload of noobs, but you get that in any game, especially the new ones. Find a well admin'ed server, and have many days of killing goodness.

'[5th Weissman']BF42 has no foliage, so infantry cover is either trees or buildings..
bfv is the same with some more trees and the f*cked up vegitation which leaves u exposed when u think ur all covered up.

'[5th Weissman']None of the "How big is your tank" syndrome of FH and DC,.

ur right, its not how big ur tank is, its how big ur chopper is.
Weissman'] If you want to work as infantry, in a perfect squad level environment, you gotta go buy this one.

lol that one made me laugh.

PoE and EoD is the only reason why my bfv cdpack and many other's isent stuffed up in a old closet along with the clothes i used to wear 8 years ago.
