So im playin this kick ass game right, and some radio message gets played "bookoo troops approaching" so im like, wtf is that shit? So there i am messaging away, 1, 2, 3, 4 messages later and no answer. So im starting to get the idea that people simply dont like using the chat feature in BFV, so here i am; my questions are as follows. What are bookoo troops? I know thats not how you spell bookoo but thats how it sounds What's a cobra, or gaybra as some people like to call it? Could someone give me an explanation as to why they dont use the chat feature while playing bfv? I see all these mods on bfvfiles.com, around abouts how long will i have to wait before i can use any of them. And since i only get to play on 2 servers because of some gay bfv glitch, will all the servers be changing to the best one or whats the go? Also i've seen some mini mods in the mods section of the site, am i able to use those mods while nobody else is in a game since its only minor things like swapping weapons in each of the categories? also i was wondering how hard is it to put new planes an stuff in the game and use them on singleplayer if you know max and skinning, thx in advance.

1. BEAUCOUP: French for "Many". Most likely added as a nod to Full Metal Jacket.

2. Cobra: AH-1G Huey Cobra Attack Helicopter. The skinny one. Fire up Operation Flaming Dart - there's two on that map.

3. It's a game, not a chat client. Log into IRC if you want to talk. Unless it's game related - and important - people usually won't respond. People are busy fighting.

4. Some mods take forever, some don't. The ones that do are almost always worth the wait, while the ones that don't are usually not worth the time it takes to download. Most mini-mods are for SP, and some aren't bad.

Importing into BFV - well, I'll let someone else tackle that for ya.

Nem What's a cobra, or gaybra as some people like to call it?

Gaybra is an attack heli. While an awesome Heli, the heat seekers take absolutly no skill to use and are a POS that some asshat programmer did at dice. Noobs think they are God when they make a kill with them, and tend to do nothing else in the game.

since i only get to play on 2 servers because of some gay bfv glitch, will all the servers be changing to the best one or whats the go? .

Try this free server finding tool called All Seeing Eye You should be able to join as many as you want. Where is your location?

Some useless etymology for ya. The term "beaucoup" as Padre pointed out means "a lot" or "many" and indeed it comes from the French. While the French were in Vietnam pre-US involvement, the term was adopted by the Vietnamese locals and in turn became part of their vocabulary (at least in the vernacular, if not officially). When US troops started to amass in significant numbers, the term was heard by both the remaining French troops as well as by the local Vietnamese. The US troops continued to use the term as it was one of the few words the US troops spoke that were understood by the locals (earlier in the war). Movies like Good Morning Vietnam, Full Metal Jacket, and Platoon make use of the term and hence... it is in this game.

This has been yet another useless fact.

Go off of padres response for not using the chat feature. It has to be relivent and concedered worth while. Even if your message is related to the game people may not be paying attention to the chat becuase they are to buisy playing, or they assume that it may not concern them or the game. Also if people are in the heat of a fight they are not going to have time to read or respond to the message, you can't fight and type at the same time.
