I've played a little SOF2 single player, but never tried MP. And you're dead on about wanting to be Rambo. If you want that, go play the UT series (which, btw, I love to play sometimes... but not usually for serious tactical fighting).

I haven't played BFV in the past almost three weeks (vacation, holidays, busy). I think I will tonight, though.

Ender WigginWolfenstein:Enemy Territory has a great way of working this out. If you are Team Killed, there is a window of opportunity to choose to submit a complaint. If that person receives enough complaints, he is automatically booted. Seems simple enough for BF to implement.

RTCW:ET had it "right" in so many ways - and that was a free download. It must be something like copyright infringement to implement all these somewhat overlooked options into games that aren't done under the same publisher.

It's sad that people want to play with FF off because of poor admin performance. Playing with FF off is like getting in bed with your girlfriend fully clothed. You can still play, but it's nowhere near as much fun. The best solution I have been able to come up with is to simply try out servers, and then keep a favorites list. Now, I will only play on those servers, as I know they are well admined, and the settings are reasonable.

Something else to keep in mind is the "ftk" feature. People, if someone accidentally TK's you, hit your '~' key and type in "ftk". You know if it was intentional or not, so don't be a jerk. TK's that are forgiven do not count toward you being kicked. Let's face it, war is hell. Every now and then, someone's gonna run in front of your bullet stream. Apologize, and ask for an ftk. It's all you can do. Admins, use some sense when kicking. TK's will happen. As long as it is not blatant and repeated, ignore it.

For some reason I think that's a feature the server has to enable in order to utilize. It's a great system, but I have a feeling it's not "standard" in BFV.

Actually, unless I totally misunderstood the server I used to admin, the server side setting is to decide whether to 'punish' tk'ers by increasing spawn times. I'd have to look and see if you can turn off the 'ftk' feature. I'll check and let you know.
