i think they need to balence out the m14 and type 56 cuase the type 56 shoots as fast as you can click while the m14 has a slower fire rate

Dont quote me but I think that the M-14 does quite a bit more dmg than the Type-56 does. In order to have more dmg per round the round generally needs to be bigger. Then concequently the bigger the recoil the weapon has. I think that the Type-56 does less damage than the M-14 and therefor the ROF of both would be completly acceptable. Despite the increased damage of the M-14 the Type-56 still owns the M-14 IMO:spank:

I do as well and don't have a lot of trouble with the M14's rate of fire.

I like the combo, and have no trouble with the ROF... it's more a problem with the impact I suppose. Tonight I got a few 1-2 shot kills with the M14 but that is far from common for me, even when I hit someone dead on.

is there a hit spot in this game? like head shot does more damage?

Seems like it to me, but it seems pretty basic. What I've noticed is this: shots to the head do more damage than shots to the body/arms/legs. This goes for any weapon. I haven't noticed if there is a difference with front/back though.

Has anyone noticed anything different? Or know for a fact if there is some sort of location-specific damage coding?

I love the m14 having the 14 not only makes you almost like a sniper but also works as anti-tank just takes a good 3 shots to the body and 1 shot to the head. and since I like to snipe alot to, getting the hang of shooting like this is really easy and I just keep in mind its just like the sniper version just without the scope

I would have to say that i really like the new weapon set up. The m14 is just as good as the m60 if you use it right. I can get just as many kills with the m14 as i can with the m60. In my opinion people are just whiners.:'(
