What resolution are you guys playing at? the maximum it will let me select is 1024x768. My monitor (a super high speed LCD) has a max resolution of 1280x1024, and I would kinda like to use it that way. :(

That's weird. My friend had an LCD and couldn't play any game in anything other than 1280x1024. The game wouldn't let him select anything else. Anyway, to answer your main question, I play in the next one up from 1024x768. Can't remember what it is offhand. First chance you get, though, buy a CRT. My buddy just got a new system (Alienware! :naughty: ) and it came with a 19"CRT. He loves it.

I have a CRT, a 19" flat screen. I'm currently using a Samsung 172X (12ms response time). The image qulity is MUCH better than my CRT. Odd that I can't seem to get it to display BFV in 1280x1024. The option doesn't even come up.

What kind of video card do you have? My friend had a similar problem when he first got BFV. He had a GeForce 4 Ti 4400. When he used the newest drivers, he got some weird graphics problems. If he used the older ones, the graphics were fine, but he only had one resolution to play in. It wouldn't let him select anything else.

lol .... Hey Furbaliciuos , there is no such a thing as flat screen CRT .... CRT is the old style that doesn't have the contrast/response time issues that the flat screen have .... In other words CRT rocks , kicks ass , while flat screen LCD's are just a joke , not even a funny one .... Plus LCD's are way too expensive and gives you less (low quality , high latency , low contrast ) than a CRT .... Enjoy it !

Technically, no but yes. this is the monitor I have

CRT's are the best for gaming, no doubt.
