As members of the battlefield community we have noticed that EA/Dice has had a definite shift away from the single player COOP community support.
This is not only with Battlefield 1942 but the recently released Battlefield Vietnam. We believe that this shift from the past support will not be in the best interest of the player community.
Recent polls conducted by EA/Dice and several fan sites have clearly indicated an overwhelming number of players do in fact play this series of games in Single Player mode.
We ask your support in informing the producers of these games to continue and to increase support the SP/COOP community.

Very good idea. I think this should be made into some sort of pettition that some people did with the cheating issue in BF1942.
YES YES YES YES !!!!!!!!! <---- Just for a bit of bias!
Would be good to have better bots :)
I didnt realise there was a better bot mod for the BF42 series :D coooooool :)
You should have this thread in just one of the forums, I'm not going to rewrite what I wrote in the FH forum thread.
EA/DICE already said they were going to introduce a campaign mode for BFV with one of the patches... maybe not the first patch but most likely by the second.
for all you 56kers out there! i salute you! i used to be in your shoes. you guys hang in there!
My friend and I play BFV coop exclusively. Not because of bad connections-we just got tired of dealing with tk'ers and babies that were always whining about "cheaters" because they were doing poorly. I remember playing BF1942 on one of the desert maps. I was at an airfield waiting for someone to pick me up or a vehicle to respawn. A couple of other players were calling me things like "camping scum!" and "loser." Now, I could care less what they called me, but it was unwarranted. They were so used to people killing each other for an aircraft they thought everyone did it. I've never even flown a plane in BF1942! We just have fun, the two of us playing on a locked server. I know it's more fun with all live people, but there always seems to be some moron trying to ruin it for everyone else.
I can totally understand that, Astaldo. I used to love playing with my buds on a closed server just against bots. Some nights it would be like a race to see who could nab the most points (the scores would be incredibly high compared to our online experiences).
Ea/Dice are just looking to make the most bucks for the least effort. They are trying to live of the success of BF1942 and to hell with Joe Public cos everyone will just buy it anyway. Hell I did. Even though it`s a bugged and unfinished effort. Even the recent patch offered very little other than fix the M60 issue and the next patch will give us 1 whole new map. Well whoopee! Guess they are just too focused on BF2 and console releases to give a s**t. Make no mistake though, the moment they ditch SP they lose half their market share. And they`ll be no tears from me. Bout time some competition give them a good kicking!
Man, whole lotta EA bashing going on around here... At times I'm just as annoyed at them, but here's a few points to chew on: - EA is a distributor. If you want to be pissed at development issues, scream at DICE... and only DICE. - BF2 dev team, BF Modern Combat and BFV dev team are not the all same team. - One of the major patches for BF1942 took a whole hell of a long time to come out (1.4) and featured only one new map: Battle of Britain. BFV is looking to add a new map with 1.1. - BF1942 was bugged, flawed, and full of problems. I mean, they're on patch 1.6 - BFV is only on 1.01. - BFV is still only 2 and a half months old. Give them time. As for them trying to make the most money with the least effort - That's the whole point of business. Plus, I'd hardly say they've put forth the least amount of effort. The game is quite entertaining.
