I was just wondering, what do u guys think of the patch? I thinks its alright. Im just angry that they haven't done anything with ATI:mad:

I got 128 9600 PRO and have to turn of these things in the bios to make it run okay. It make the graphics look weird though, kinda blocky. I think it took EA way too long to make this patch.

I agree. But I have noticed a slight increase in framerate and general game speed with my ti4400. After having played I don't like what they did with RPD but 60 changes are much more realistic. Using it as a run and gun was fatal but setting up on a hill with some cover was pretty fun and since you can only get with the M79 (fantastic assault weapon with practice) it seems to make a better choice as a heavy kit. I don't think they should have used the M14 as a replacement for the 60 until they fix the M14 (M16 or even Mossberg would have been a better choice). I have to say the best improvement overall was adding the spawn capture indicator. The Newb-Bots (players who run-gun, wait for choppers and pay no attention to objectives) seem to be paying a bit more attention to what is going on and capturing a base got a lot harder.

It's not even a full patch - remember that. It's only 1.01.

The RPD and M60changes were much needed. Even the RPD shouldn't be a run-n-gun weapon, though now it's fairly inaccurate even when prone. I suppose it all depends on your distance to the target.

The M14 should have a stronger punch to it, as should the sniper rifles. M14 SHOULD only be a two-three shot kill, and sniper should be a one at best, two shots max to kill. I've shot many an enemy in the head, neck and other vital areas with the M40 only to have them get away. I think if they worked in a little location specific damage it'd be that much better.

The indicator is VERY cool. It does seem that more people are working together to defend rather than hang out for the vehicles.

I dont like the the "!" indicator. I feel that it gives away the whole steath of capturing a base. and I agree with Padre about the sniper rifles needing to be more powerful.

yeah, I'm not terribly keen on the /!\ indicator either. If it was something server admins could control, then it wouldn't be as big a deal. But on the flip side I don't mind it because I know when the enemy is attacking my bases as well. Oh well, 6 of one, 1/2 dozen of the other.

I agree that it shouldnt be a run and gun weapon ( the m-60) but the fact that they made it less accurate while prone was kind of a dumb idea, especially since the gun is supposed to have an accurate range of 1000 ft. The M-14 is alotta fun but they need to change the clips to 30 shots like they're supposed to be. I have an m-14 and it came with two 30 shots. Also, I dont see how replacing the m-60 with the m-14 is gonna fix anything. I'm geting about the same number of kills with the m-14 as i was with m-60, m-16- or ar-15. I dunno, people jus complain too much.:confused: MAH whatever
