All these patches for Vietnam is what it should of been in the first place, but I don't think there will be an exp pack.
I agree with Scorpy... I originally thought that they'd release the real tunnel system map(s) as an expansion. Here's what I said on 16 APR 04, talking about the Ia Drang tunnel object in the BCV Toolset:
I wouldn't put it past EA to implement this in either a patch or an expansion. "Battlefield Vietnam: Tunnelrat" anyone?
I have a very strong suspicion they're just going to release super jacked up patches with a few new maps each time. I do hope they'll make more tunnel maps.
BFV IMHO is a fun game. I would buy the expansion. One thing about computer gaming is that alot of people run different systems unlike a home console. When a developer creates a game it has to be compatiable with alot of different hardware and software. That is not an easy task especially with the high demand for better graphics these days. Also online multiplayer games also depend on the server you log into, their bandwith and ability to host large numbers. For the most part, I think BFV runs pretty smooth.it definatly came out of the box better the BF 1942 did. Their will always be patches for online multiplayer computer games. Get used to it! If you don't like that, play PS2 or Xbox. Its the way of the online multiplayer gaming world today. :moon:

As per Foxtrot, well said, Phant. I actually LIKE the fact that there are tons of patches for the online PC games I play (including BFV, of course). Without them, we'd be stuck with whatever came out of the box... and there'd be so few people playing BFV right now if that were the case, it'd suck... hardcore. If you go out and buy an online PC game right now and the company that released it (read: the developer) doesn't put out patches to make it an even better experience, you're dealing with an inferior product, IMHO. No game comes shipped perfectly.
