I use the joystick for flying. I have the microsoft precision pro. It works flawlessly. I couldn't even begin to try it with the keyboard. Seems so unnatural.

I dont fly the planes dont like them. When flying the Helo's though i prefer to use the mouse n Keyboard I seem to have more control over my chopper then with a joystick.

What Helicopers do u prefer in the game. Me personaly I Love the Huey.

Joystick is the only way to fly, planes or helos. I've tried a couple of different ones but when my road-dawg turned me on to the Thrustmaster Top Gun Afterburner II, I was sold. This is the website addy for the stick: http://us.thrustmaster.com/products/d_prd.php?p=T64&fam=6 and I know CompUSA sells them for $60; I guarantee it's money well spent. I can also highly recommend the Belkin Nostromo SpeedPad N52 ($40) for the left hand during gameplay you're not on the stick, along with a Microsoft Trackball Explorer under your right(or a Logitech Marble Mouse for $20 if you don't wanna spend the $45 for the Explorer). Unfortunately that particular setup (including the stick) is no good for southpaws. The ergonomics were designed for right-handers. You can get your keyboard completely outta the way because the N52, Afterburner and Explorer all fit on the keyboard tray and can be set up for any and all functions required for any game out there. That's my setup anyway, and it's works out JUST fine.
