if we're near the end of the map and we're winning quite handily, I'l put on some CCR or Martha and the Vandelas.

i don't play the music, as ground troops can usually hear th music before they can hear the sound of your vehicle. i.e. tank

The music's good in moderation, and really hasn't lost its appeal with me. What I find stupid is when the VC are blaring music in the Mi8's. True, there's no Vietnamese music, but what are the chances Chuck would be playing US late 60's pop tunes?

As for what I play... Well depends on how it's going, and what's happening. Flying the Huey Slick I'll fire up CCR or The Kinks, especially "You Really Got Me" on Hastings towards the end of the map. When piloting a PBR or M113 down the river I'l throw on Canned Heat. Flying a Cobra or Huey Gunship ushers the return of The Kinks, or even Surfin' Bird. What I consider Tank Music is "Get Ready" and "Nowhere To Run". Hush is popped on when I'm driving a Jeep, though sometimes when in the M113, rolling along.

I usually don't play the music unless it's for a certain mood. Driving the tank into a point owned by the VC and blasting the crap out of them while blaring "Get Ready cause here I come!" is pretty damned amusing. Also I use the Vespa and Surfin' Bird as a distraction tactic on the Hue maps. Nothing QUITE as annoying as someone buzzing around a point blasting music. You don't know if it's a tank, BTR, M113, Jeep - and by the time they find me rolling around on the Vespa, the rest of the team has overthrown the point.
