Okay, i've been playing bfv for about two years, and i've seen problems, but this is too much. My game wont' start up now. It'll show the black "battlefield vietnam" screen that pre-empts the game, and my cpu will run at about 45% which is normal for a game, but then it'll just stop. Completely. The game is no longer in my system tray, and my cpu is running back at 3% idle speed. Help please, someone?

There is no error message? Have you tried restarting your computer and re-running the game? That has happned to me before but I would just restart my computer and it would start up. If none of that works, I would re-istall the game, but you might want to wait for someone else's idea before doing that.

Any help?

I have had readmes in the levels folder I have also had RAR files and zip files and the game still started up without complaining, they just didn't show up on the levels list. But you shoud try that to see if tha tworks for you before reinstalling the game.
