Would a AMD Athlon XP3000 2.16GHz, 512 MB,and 128 MB NVIDIA GeForceFX 5200XT work smoothly with no problems? I was thinking of getting asking other people if my computer has enough power to run this game. Thank you!
would work fine and if you got another 512 mb of ram it would probaly be perfect
Oh no - not another one of these. Buddy, you have to promise me right now that you're not going to go all psycho when I give you an answer. I'm only trying to help you, so please don't go crazy by flaming everyone after we respond. PM me if you want more info about that.
Anyhow, on to the answer I want to give:
I think you'd be OK to run the game. I think you'd be better off to get more RAM, but if you dial down the video settings you should be able to play it with little issue. A lot of people say that video card is not quite powerful enough. On a 3D Mark benchmark test, your card got just over 9,000 FPS while mine (GeForce Ti 4200) got just over 10,000. I think you'll be OK, again, if the settings are dialed down to low/medium. You'd have to mess with them to find a good zone.
I'll admit I don't know the Athlon/Pentium comparison, so I don't know what the XP3000 2.16Ghz equals in Intel processors. I know that a low sounding one, like that, is usually pretty powerful. I think you'd be OK.
