First, it would be great if the capital ship interiors weren't carbon copies. They need corridors with specialized rooms. Second, I'd like to be able to have pilots on planets along with starfighters. My favorite class was the pilot in the first BF. I spent many happy moments taking out infantry with my X-wing. Third, having the ability to select which hero you use when invading a planet would be awesome. I hate Yoda and rock with Obi-Wan so he's my hero of choice. Lastly I hoping someone makes a large planet map with a spaceport and various fighters for the Rebels and a Star Destroyer high above for the Imps. A planetary invasion from above. Man, Lucasarts shortcut this.

Amen. I was makig a space battle boarding map where you could walk around inside a SD with corridors and such but am moving on to SWBF2 since it has more of what I need, so I think I will try both of these suggestions.

I myself have no real skill at modding, so all I can say is thank goodness there are others out there who see that this game needs some serious fine tuning. I can't wait to see alll the awesome mods that will undoubtedly flurish in the days to come. Best of luck on all the projects. And everyone feel free to post your own thoughts and recommendations for improvement. I think it's funny that it takes people like us sitting around tweaking code and customizing scripts in our various darkened basements to make a truely awesome game when the folks that get paid the big bucks in plush offices merely took the shortest routes possible to get the game released.
