My point Exactly Iswer. It seems to me you complain about things that were not promised.

I believe you can order troops into your Landing Craft...

About the map editor, they will release that later to max out the games potential.

The AI- I havn't played yet so i wont judge that.

And Wingman support? how exactly would that work if you didnt start already on a fighter or bomber? I would imagine its difficult to program, and probably wouldnt work right.

Promised?? No. But then neither was the UT map editor and thats standard release with the game.

Wingman supprot difficult?? I seriously don't think so. Why not have the capability to call in wingmen during space based combat AFTER leaving the hangar?? There are seperate commands for fighters and on foot.

Complaining about things seems to be the only way they even get noticed. Also how do you know that these things may not have been given serious thought to. The problem lies in so much as when a game is announced there is always a large group of people who do their level best to pester until the game is released, and as you know, this does cause the dev team to release a game far ealier than they should.

Mind you. Dont' get me wrong. The game run excellently on my pc, and whilst it can be frustrating at times it still seems incomplete.

Every time a game comes out this happens.

With Battlefield : Vietnam it was "Oh lets sign a Petition to ban Parachutes from Helicopters".

But this one seems to have a more valid point, while a Map editor would be nice ( Especialy for PS2, that would totaly boost sales ), you will get one later, also UT is a different type of Shooter.

It seems to be more based on action.... whereas BF is Based on the Action of trying to avoid getting your Ass blown to peices :p .

Anyways, i currently have sent away for it... and have only played the first one so, my opinion is only valid on some level.

They're both FPS games therefore use the same mechanics. The only difference being that BF2 is far more storyline orientated which UT wouldnt' benefit from anyway. No my point is, that it would have been nice to have some tools already included.
