*The pilot's time bomb can destroy an internal feature in about 4 hits. Since you can only carry 3 bombs at a time, do not try to sabotage enemy internal features unless it is absolutely necessary, or your team is nearing victory. *Repairing your own internal features if they are destroyed. The most important internal feature to keep intact is the shield generator. It buys the external assets of the capital ship intact. If the shield is destroyed, your capital ship is a sitting duck. *Remember that the pilot is best piloting, and the marine is best for sabotaging enemies internal assets. *The best thing to destroy inside an enemy ship is the Auto turret Mainframe. Destroying this will stop the auto turrets outside the ship, and giving friendly ships an easier time outside, and also making it easier for you to return if you happen to die. *Try to destroy the shield generator from the inside, instead of trying to weaken the shields. It's faster, and more effective to bring down the enemy’s shields. *Destroying the supporting ships beside the enemy's capital ship will give your team a lot of points, and also you will receive a lot a points as well. *The easiest external asset to destroy is the engine. It is out of firing range for auto turrets. The only thing that could threaten a bomber or fighter from destroying the engines, is another fighter. *Fill a transport up with marines and land in the enemy's hangar. Instead of going alone, you'll have an entire team with you. *Ships like the A-Wing, TIE Interceptor, TRI-Fighter, and Jedi Starfighter are fast and maneuverable ships. Though they might not have the best weapons, you have a speed advantage against other fighters. *Bombers are best only by destroying external assets and supporting ships. Don't try to take on a fighter or faster star fighter with the bombers. These slow ships can easily be destroyed by other starfighters. *Normal fighters, like TIE-Fighters, X-Wings, ARC-Fighters, and Droid Starfighters are good for the normal pilot. They have missiles, which can damage external assets moderately, and a good primary weapon for destroying other starfighters. *Remember that for every kill, your team gets a point. *Your team wins when your team reaches 180 points. Killing enemies, destroying enemy assets, and destroying enemy support ships can collect points. *Be careful when infiltrating an enemy ship. There are auto turrets that kill, and they can be destroyed. *You can enter Remote Turret controls like any other vehicle. They can also be destroyed just like a vehicle. *If someone enters your own ship, kill him quickly and repair any assets he may have damaged or destroyed. *Remember that you can not capture the enemy's CP. If you have anything to add, please do so.
That must have taken a LONG time to write... This will be useful for n00bs.
this game didn't come out too long ago, we were all noobs at this game 1 or 2 months ago...
Here are some more things and corrections: *ONLY the shield generator requires 4 bombs. *The life support (to your left when u enter the turret room) and the egine cooling tanks (to your right when you enter the turret room) require only 3 bombs. *The auto turret mainfraime , in the center of the turret room, requires only 2 time bombs. Destroying it makes the turrets useless. It can be repaired though. *The turrets inside the ship repair themselves over time even after being destroyed *The Republic Starfighter, TIE Interceptor, CIS Tri-fighter, and A-Wing all have power weapons that obliterate enemy bombers and starfighters, although they have weak armor. They are more properly called "Scout Fighters" *Scout Fighters can be destroyed by one hit from a bomber, so be careful! *If your fighter lands in the enemy hangar, it will lose life and blow up if automatically over a short period of time (about 30 secs) *The Republis bomber, the V-Wing, has a devastating shotgun that is much more effective against fighters. *The Rebel Alliance's Y-Wing has a Repeating turret controlled by the co-pilot and is uselful to destroy enemy ships following you. *You can set the points to be OTHER than 180 by going to options in instant action and choosing assault. *There are LARGE and SMALL space battles. This means more fighters are in space at one time and there are more than 1 Frigate (You call it support vessel) *You can only have a certain amount of fighters in space at one time (Number unknown at the time) And that wraps it up.
More tips found out today. The Sheild Generator/Sheilds, Autoturrets/Mainframe, Sensor Array, and Life Support can all be destroyed from space, or inside the enemy ship. Only engines and frigates can not be destroy internally, unless you spend a long time at the Remote Turret controls.
its the engines that can be destroyed internally, not the sensor array
Systems that can be destroyed EXTERNALLY ONLY: *Bridge *Sensors Array *Communications Realy
Systems that can only be destroyed INSIDE ONLY:
*Auto Turret Defense mainfraime Systems that can be destroyed BOTH ways: *Engines *Shields *Life Support im gonna shoot down your A-wing Wraith, i will .
