WOW. Have any of you realized just how long it's been since a file's been posted? Is it the new Staff? A system error? School? What? This has been an ongoing thing. There have been several long absences of submissions, and the Staff have given no explanation. I mean, if I was a Staff member, I would at least post one each weekend! I submitted my first file on Thursday of last week, All I got was this: Hello , Thank you for your E-Mail! One of our staff members will review your E-Mail and deal with it shortly. Thanks, - The SWBFFiles Team. I wait... I wait... (sigh) Wait... Hm... Maybe I'm just impatient because it's my first file? Well, no, there was still long absences of file submissions... Well, just have to wait for a break in their personal life! I am here to discuss xuch matters. I want files!

Since the other staff were beating me to the files after I added them, I stopped going to the inbox entirely. I wouldn't know if your file is in there, but I'll ask one of the staff about handling it. There aren't many files on SWBF Files because everybody left for GT. Their website is much more popular, I think, and they go there and not here. We simply do not get that many files anymore, and it is damaging to us.

The problem with uploading more files is that we need submissions of more files. We really do get very few. There are currently 2 or 3 files that we have: two are in the "holding area," meaning that a staff member has already set aside that map with the tacit promise to upload them, and one has been sitting in the inbox for a while. I'll go ahead and upload that, but it's not your map/mod, because I don't see any maps or mods sent in last Thursday. If you really want something uploaded quickly, usually the best way (at this point) is to e-mail a specific staff member, and see if they'll upload it for you. And, of course, none of this is because of Gametoast, lol. Hearing the "Gametoast is stealing all our files" is kinda silly, since we don't "get" a lot of new files either. The only reason it looks like we're a lot more active is because people can show what they're currently working on in a work-in-progress thread. That being said, BFFiles does tend to drive off modders (especially insomuch as they're active in the community), simply because the mood of the site is one of "gimme gimme," rather than "thanks, let us help you get that done." But really, here at BFFiles we're still getting the same amount of "finished" maps/mods that GT "gets."

Yea, sometimes, people at GameToast don't release their map on filefront for awhile after they are realesed on GameToast. Like I didn't send Emag to Filefront till about 4 moths after it was on GT. Just lazy I guess in my case.

I never go to GT. Never have. SWBF Files is better. Anyway, that makes sense. Thanks for clariffying. I'd send in maps but the mod tools don't work for me...:(
