Hi... Well i just spent 250 pounds buying a new graphics card, processor and mother board to do my old pc up... I also purchased Star Wars BattleFront 2 as i am part of a modding and mapping team working on "things." I got the game home after doing up my pc.. But THEN i realised i have NO DVD drive on my pc... So my friend is bringing his around so i can install it onto my pc using HIS DVD drive... Is there any way to play the game without a CD after i have installed it? Using Daemon tools or Alcohol or something? Maybe a NO cd fix?? Any help wud be REALLY useful to me as i have just spent 30 pounds on a game i cannot play so PLEASE help me?? :bows: A. Fury
I suppose i'll just have to try when he comes around... A. Fury
just buy a dvd drive; they're quite cheap and cheaper than battlefront!
It's just too bad your 'modding and mapping team''s things are limited to hex editing. You won't be able to do Daemon tools or Alcohol because it is't in the right format and chances of you finding a noCD crack are 0-0. You'd be better off buying a new DVD drive.
exactly what he said.
I'll find a way around it... Everything can be broken.. Even this.. Done it before so i'll do it again.. A. Fury
ummm.... i feel sorry for you old chap....
I just have the xbox version... no mods but no need to buy a new bloody hard drive or a bloody video card... saves some pounds in me pocket eh governer?
Hmmmmmm.... Anyhoo... Moving on... I went out and brought a dvd drive today so i can now play it so no worries there then... Only thing i don't like about it is the fact that you can't see inside the cocpit of a fighter craft... But i haven't really played it that much so i will have to play more, lol... Looks good though.. Graphics are a bit uncrisp but that's ok, lol... And any way.. Why do you people INSIST on believing that we brits go around talking like World War 2 throwbacks??? That sort of thing died out many years ago, even before the 1950's... Only Londoners even slightly talk like that but it's more of a slang... Besides at least we don't sound like we're eatin extra chewy bubble gum, lol... Elongated words and stuff like that, lol.. If you heard some of the language we come out with you'd WISH we spoke posh :naughty: A. Fury
True, so true. Now get me my bloody afternoon tea and biscuits!
