I always prefer single-player to multiplayer, but after playing this game for a long while I found I could easily beat the AI on medium difficulty setting but I couldn't beat it on 'hard' (the 'hard' AI seem to move faster than any real human could). So today I started playing against the medium AI and giving myself one life only (if I die I don't respawn and I just wait until the AI finish fighting it out). This seems to work well, as now it's much harder to win against the medium AI, but not impossible like it was for me against the 'hard' AI. I was surprised to find that it's very possible to stay alive throughout an entire battle, and it's a real accomplishment when you get through a tough one without getting killed at all. Has anyone else played the game in 'Ironman' mode? Does anyone else prefer it?
No, but it sounds like fun. i'll go try it out
I've done that. Once in SWBF1 on Geonosis as a Jet trooper my score was 97 kills, 0 deaths. I was amazed.
Yesterday I got 87 kills and won the battle without getting killed once. That was with a regular stormtrooper on the Bespin Platforms map. That was fun.
Awhile ago, me and a friend co-oping on Xbox (bf1) playing on geonosis, and since we weren't really paying attention, the score ended up being 178 to 1. Since it was just me and him (all our AI teammates died), we won using the at-te and the republic gunship. That battle took a long time to win.
wow. I had't died yet and was the last guy on the field with 40 enemies left. THAT was a hard battle to win, but i did it!
I used to do that, in BFI in bespin, just be a stormtrooper and do my best to stay alive....
