I'm in Fort Worth, Texas and I am 14 years old and looking for a US/Canadian based clan of mature players. I am young, though this does not stop maturity. You will find it in my skills I am very mature person. I'm looking for a clan that doesn't just play one of the countries, I'm looking for one that plays them all. I'm really lookin' for objective based or multi-scenario clans and being involved in a league or organized play is mandatory. The clan having it's own (good) server is mandatory. I really don't think I wasn't a military style organized clan as it seems this inevitably leads to ego battles among the clan. I'm more looking for a bunch of brothers to form friendship with equality, not having some 15 year old talk down to me becouse his brother gave him a "SGT" tag or whatever.

I have a fast/stable connection and a very flexible schedule. I am usually available from 4:30 PM to 11:00 PM CST. I am a very dedicated person, I have been playing online games for about three years, but I have been gaming since I was around four years old. Now it's time that I move on and am lookin' for a new home to put just as much dedication into. So if your clan is a new clan that is formed by someone that is under the age of 18 and has no server, and who's site is hosted by some "FreeWebs" or whatever, please, don't bother posting. I only am interested in a clan in it for the long haul. A clan that wants to study maps, seriously study strategy and tactics kinda thing that practices a couple times a week is what I'm really looking for.

I neither want to be the best, nor the worst in the clan. If you don't have a few guys that can frag me consistently with ease, then I likely won't be interested. Same if I am the weakest link, I want to be an aset to the clan, not a hindrance. Skill and talent are no substitute for maturity though! But if your clan simply stinks, I'm not interested. Also I'm not lookin' for a bunch of clowns who are out to offend people with member names like "Jew Killer" or "DevilBoy666". These are definantely not the mark of mature players in my view.

Organization and strong leadership is a must. I have no interest in wasting my time in an unorganized effort. My style of play is aggressive and I prefer light weaponry. I can snipe, but my close combat snipeing isn't my strong point. I have good spatial relationship skills and am a fairly observant. If your clan is full of oblivious newbies who do nothing but get in the way all the time, I will find it more agrivateing than fun. So while skill isn't the most important factor in my choosing a clan, incompetence is something I have no desire to deal with.

If your clan is full of 15 year olds who constantly say "owned" after every frag, forget it. Egotists need not waste my time. If your mIRC channel is full of members saying "Yo Yo Whats Up My *****s" or the like, definitely forget it. If your clan has 100+ members, don't bother. I'm looking for a select few to play with and get to know, not some massive orginization type scenario with 100+ members.

I guess that’s the basics, any one who thinks their clan might be interested, please leave contact info, server info, and website URL. (This might all seem verbose, but it's better to take ten minutes to type this than to waste my time with people/clans that obviously aren't going to suit my taste or needs.)

Regards, Ryan Roche

Look no further, The First Volenteer Calvery Regiment is what you are looking for. We are currently seeking members for the fall season for the TWL league. If you are serious about being in a clan and doing your part, then go here:

http://www.teamfha.com/index.php

On the left side of the screen, under the Main Menu you will see a forums link. You may have to register in order to post but that is the way with most forums. After you click on forums, go to the second thread intitled "Requests to Join [1stVCav], enter that thread. In there you will need to read the second Announcement thread " Interested in the [1stVCav]? Read this!! Do just that, read and post your name and that you are interested. Tell them Smoky sent you. (ignore the times posted for tryouts they are now on sundays, you will recieve more info if you post in the places I descibe below) Next go back to the "Requests to join [1stVCav]" thread, and go into the sixth thread down, it's a sticky called "The [1stVCav] Wants you" Read that and you will know what to do from there, You will also see our ranking system. I know this may seem like a lot to do but we have procedure, and this is it. I think you will find what you are looking for in the [1stVCav] We love to screw around and have fun but when its time to be serious, we do. So I hope to see your name on the threads and see you at tryouts.
