Since this is a realism mod (to a certain degree) I have to say that the Horton has too much ammuntion.
The Horton is euipped with 4 x 30mm machine cannons MK108, each holding 120 rounds of ammo. That makes 480 total. Further it has 2 bombs, 2,205lb.(1.000kg) each.
The Flettner FL-282 "Kolibri" however has never been armed IRL due to the fact that it can only carry 384 kg with the pilot.
However, a radio for artillery support isn´t a bad idea and I think it could carry that. Further a prototype was experimentally equipped with 2 small bombs.
if this is a realism mod the horten shouldn't even be in the game.
Are you suggesting that the Horton wasn't real? It only makes an appearance on Alpenfestung (my apologies to any offended if I butchered the name), which is itself a ficticious battle. So... explain why it can't be in FH, ficticious or otherwise (provided, of course, it's within spec)?
What if missions are the best type they use imagination and can be done however the mapper wants. I think they should add more as the go.
I also think some more what if maps would be cool. Ande the Horten is only in Alpenfestung that I am aware of which is a what if map. Its not like they are flying over Berlin or in the Bulge
If they would make a "Kircheim/Teck" map there would even be 10 fully operational BA-349 Natter.
They were placed at that place in Baden Württemberg not far away from Stuttgart.
Well, I'm sorry. I've only played .6 for a few days, and it is feasible for it to be in a ficticious battle.
What would really rock would be if the FH team for a future release could make a Maus tank and have the battle of Kummersdorf. Its a what if\ possibly happened map. No one wants to say nothing happened at kummersdorf testing grounds but no one says yes. Pit a Maus and all the tanks there against the Russians.
Would be awesome :)
