IMHO the M1 carbine right now is too slow in ROF.
Since it is also a weak gun, it should have a higher rate of fire.
It should be possible to put out at least 5 rounds a second with it.
In DoD I can empty the whole clip in less than 1.5 seconds.
The gun fires as fast as you can pull the trigger irl. Also, no you can't in DoD, it takes about 5 second to unload a mag. Maybe a .25 second delay, that means the fastest gun in the Western Europe can empty it in about 3-4 seconds.

No sh*t, in DoD 1.1 I unload a 15 round clip in even less than 1.5 seconds. You need butterfingers however, but you can do it. 5 seconds, lol! That would only be 3 shots.
DoD is so arcade there might as well as be an Italian Plumber class, but this is a realism mod, anything really fast would jam the weapon.
I agree, the carbine Rof needs to be sped up a tad. You outta be able to crank off rounds as fast as you click, as goes for the garand too.
Clicking is easier than pulling a trigger. Also, weapons would jam if it was fired off too quickly

No joke sputty. But I can still pull a trigger faster then the M1C fires currently.
I think the M1 Carabine is allright the way it is atm. Remember, since its an engineer rifle, you have to balance it against all the other rifles, especially the Garand. The M1 can kill in 1 shot, at moderate range but isn´t that accurate and lethal at long ranges. However due to its faster RoF and its larger clip, its a better close combat weapon. I think its good the way it is atm...
a little bit faster fire rate would be good

What do you mean? The M1 Carbine or M1C Garand, that was a sniper rifle used by the Marines near the end of the war.
