I just watched a program that talked about the m2 carbine. It was basically the same as the m1 carbine but was fully automatic and used a banana clip. The program said it was used at the end of the war in the pacific theater. Does anyone know more about this rifle? I think it would be a nice addition and wouldn't be too hard to implement since they could just modify the m1 model a bit. Comments?

In the link the top rifle in the pic is supposed to be a M2 Carbine. It was supposedto be a select fire version of the M1 Carbine made by Inland and Winchester. 30rd mag was standard. USMC was supposedly a major user.

This might be a good addition when we get some late Pacific maps.

sounds like a good idea to me to put it in! but, I think (i may be mistaken) it had problems with overheating when fired on full auto

recoil would be nuts, very fun though to have an auto carbine
