Ok weve had a good range of British tanks in FH, including most of the C series, crusader, churchill etc etc. But what about a real German Tank Killer. "THE COMET" it was introducein the later parts of 1944 and was powered by the Rolls Royce Merlin V12 engine(40mph), had wide tracks, good armour and to top it all a 17 pounder anti tank gun mounted on the turret, so could penetrate anything the germans had. Can we see it in the next patch, please please. :bows:
Ehhm I think the germans have alot of really strong armor already and in 0.6 iirc the king tiger will be added to an already impressing list. So I say no there are other countries that need additions first.
where is the bren carrier vanishd from the war? churchill petard ?

So do you agree or what? It would mean the western allies would have a real answer to the tiger, which is what the Comet was designed for.
I vote yay
Why not, always gd to see more Brit equipment. But like someone said before, where are the Universal Carriers!?!? Harry
I dont say yea..I SAY HELL YEAH!!
Comet was everything the Cromwell was supposed to have been. Excellent armor except it wasnt sloped, hard hitting 77mmm gun that fired same ammo as the 17lbr., and was mechanically reliable.
The 77mm was a more compact and lighter weight version of the 17lbr A/T gun with a shorter barrel yet was able to retain almost all of the 17lbr's velocity. To avoid confusion between the two guns the short barreled 17lbr was designated the OQF 77mm gun.
Comet was the last of the Cruisers. After it came the Centurion, Britains first main battle tank which arrived in Germany in May of 1945.
Here's some info I found on it.
