ID tags need to be activated for teams. Not having tags on the enemy is fine but the amount of TKing going on because of misidentification is nuts. Any possible solutions??

no, i guess i know what he means, because i wanted to suggest this too.

whats about deactivating the enemies name-tags in the 3d-view (not the map). i mean... whats the point about hiding between trees if nearly each opposite player could spot you by just "scanning" the area with the crosshair? tags of teammates should still be displayed. but i don't know, if this is possible with bf.

I'm aware that nametags are a server side option but I believe that the option to have them is either on or off. I'm just asking for name tags for teammates. Having them off for enemies is fine for me. I was thinking since this is a full mod that perhaps the FH team could find a workaround for this.

Server options can set visible distance of friendly or enemy tags individually in increments of 10 metres i think.

Yep, nametag distance is controlled by the server. It does make for better play without them though.
