exporting a existing map to .3ds ? is it possible. i dont care if its a long complicated process just wonderd if any one new how to export current levels, i no how to get into the RFa and extract .sm and bits, but the actual map is unknowen 2 me, whats the main bsps format:S !! all help apreicated !

Well the level file is not an .sm file, it is a special kind of .raw file. You can import them into 3ds max by using rexmans tools. I don't know about gmax though.

hmm thanx for the reply, i have rexmans tools, and i open the level i want to get into .3ds in rfa explorer, and i see these 2 .raw files hightmap.raw and material map.raw, i extract them and import them into 3dsmax using rexmans tools and neither of these is the map :S am i missing somthin, thanx for the help could u help again?

okay i see now, ive got the actual level there but its emty no buildings ect... just a big grass hilly thing :P now how do i get the rest to apear?
