Hello, i need help to configure my joystick, i have a sidewinder 1.0, i dont no how to fly helis with the keyboard, so help me please to configure the joystick, i go to controls and there are many commands: speed up, speed down, rudder left, rudder right, pitch up, etc which axis of the joystick i use for each command? :confused: speed, rudder and pitch are a total of 6 commands, how i am configure with only four axis of the joystick:( . thank you!!!

i dont think this is the right section..and i dunnow h no one else has answered you, but theres a ton of sites out there telling you how to set up a stick..just look at google for some... but setting up the stick is easy, start BF1942 and go to options, and controls. click the air tab and simply click on the right column of whatever funtion you want to assigne..ie...click the right side of throttle, and simply move youre throttle click the right side of pitch up and pull your stick back....the game should register those commands and you will be all set and those are only 4 commands which your stick should be able to do, unless it doesnt have twist, you should just leave out the rudder and do everything else. Now if 1942 doesnt recognize ur stick uhavnt installed it in windows yet, and need to do that and configure it as the number 1 controller hope that helps i just aksed about the logitech profiler that no one seems to be able to answer... so i know how it is

i use the same configuration for flying planes as for helos. rudders steer, not tilting the joystick, and throttle as for a plane.
