I'm not completely sure of what i'm talking about but I think I saw somewhere that the Americans used a different rifle at the start of WWII, will it be on Midway, Wake Island and other places?

Springfield? The model is already done, I think it needs a skin(will be used as sniper rifle).

Close, they used different rifles at the start of WWII.

US Marines started with the M1903A3 Springfield, Reising M50 SMG and Johnson M1941 LMG (as well as the BAR). US Army started with the M1 Garand, M1928A2 Thompson and M1918A2 BAR. After Guadalcanal all US forces used the M1 Garand, M1A1 Thompson and M1918A2 BAR ie. the standard issue.

Whether FH makes any historcial correction is up to them.

Click below then check the US weaponry for what was used.

Garand was made in 1936, but wasnt in large numbers at 1941... Numerous enough by torch though.

I remembered it, the M41 Johnson also I hope that the modelers have made a springfield rifle because I dont want to have to be using the korean war garand sniper rifle

The M1941 Johnson rifle came into US service via the Netherlands Government as they were intended for use in the Pacific. They were issued to the US Marines and used exclusively in the Pacific. The M1941 Johnson was used by the Marine Raiders and the Para-Marines at the beginning of World War II and served as their main semi-auto rifle until adoption of the M1 Garand in late 1942.

Note: my previous post is true as the US Marines are very stoic in their marksmanship skills. Later they realised they could do just as well with firepower.

The M1941 Johnson LMG is in the up comming 1.6 patch as the Canadian Assault class. Another DICE historical stuffup as the Canuks never had them.
