Anyone know if they're any plans to add the Panzerkampfwagen III, maybe the Ausf F with the 50mm L/42 gun?

or maybe the PzKpfw IV F or G with the long barrel 75mm (75mm KwK 40 L/48), the current short barrel 75mm is so weak.

Also, is the current Churchill supposed to be the Mark V, VI or what?

Just curious, thanks.

I don't think the pz.3 will make it to 0.6 but i would be suprised if they didnt add 'em in a later version.

I heard some rumors that the panzer III will be added in 0.7.

The PanzerIII model is done, and actually I made it a personal mission to push the peoples involved into finishing it as fast as possible, not that the B is done.

It was a very common tank in many theatres, inclusion in .6 would be great.

i would be very pleased if THE german tank for ww2 will make it into 0.6

cochise: there is a long-barrel pzIV ingame already... i dont think we need every variant of every tank as long there is much more work to too :)

The late-model PzKpfw IV in v.5 is an ausf H, is it not?

ya and thats with schurzen. we need ausf. Gs and Fs, the crappy IV D thats in .5 pisses me off with its lowly 75m support gun(inaccurate). i would love to see some panzer III ausf. Js and L/Ms

Yeah but I would hope it will be the "F" or better otherwise don't bother. That's the only one with a decent gun. (50mm)

The PzKpfw IV H is there but i honestly wish they'd just put the 75mm KwK 40 L/48 gun on the existing chassis, ala pzkpfw IV F.

The Panzer III was designed as a medium tank, with a high-velocity 37 mm gun. Pre-war production was 98 vehicles. During the war, the Pz III was upgunned to a 50 mm gun, then to an even higher velocity 50 mm gun, in order to improve its anti-tank performance. A low-velocity 75 mm gun was also fitted, but since the tank wasn't big enough to fit a high-velocity 75 mm gun, production was halted mid-war, although the chassis continued to be used to build assault guns.

The Panzer III was the first tank to have a 3-man turret: the commander didn't have to double up as a loader or a gunner, so he could concentrate on commanding the tank.

There were more IV's produced than III's...

Panzer IV The Panzer IV was designed alongside the Panzer III. The Pz IV was a slightly larger and heavier tank, and with its large calibre low velocity gun, it was designed to break through enemy positions. Pre-war production was 211 tanks.

Well only a small number of wirbelwinds and ostwinds were created since the germans planned to build the kugelblitz. It was supposed to be a improvement over the existing mobile AAA. It was armed with 2x30mm cannon
