Not really the Panther could take on a T34 and so could the Panzer4h. One thing I dont think people realise is the Germans used tank tactics to take out the T34s with there inferior models.
Rofl guys, half of you don't know what you're talking about. It's not a bug, it's realistic. The thickest armour of the Pzkfw. IV Ausf. D was only 30mm @ 12°!
And the main gun of the Ausf. D, the 75/l24 only had a muzzle velocity of 385~450m/sec. Compare this to the 965m/sec of the T-34s main gun or the 1476m/sec of the improved 75/l48.
The well known truth is: all early war German panzers sucked. The only reason why they won in France, Poland,... was because they utilised them better.
But with the appearance of the T-34 & KV series in wich even green troops could cause mayhem under the German, they beefed up all their panzers armor & gun-a-like.
I take what n0e says way too seriously

Tiger was made before the Panther.
We really should not waste text to these nOObs, they simply want more cool ubertanks......lets give them a link to a war history site so then can read what actually happened.
My guess is that does not interest them..... since they want more cool ubertanks....
I don't understand, how come the tiger is the Pz6 and the panther the Pz5, while the tiger was built first?
The Panther came into mass production first.
Panther was developed first, but the tiger was fielded first (panther had longer development)
The numbers are designated to the chassis type. The Panther was actually conceived before the Tiger but since there was no direct need for it atm the Tiger got finished first but since it was designed later, it was designated chassis VI.
that what i said
... *shifty eyes*
Panther is my favorite German Tank, shame it is not in any levels.
