Titmouse69so whys it called a grease gun?

It shoots .45 caliber rounds. It is called a grease gun because it resembles a grease gun that would be used in a garage.

The gun was produced because the Thompson's were too expensive to produce and they were very compicated (they had alot of moving parts) the grease gun was a stamped weapon, making it very cheap to manufacture compared to the milled Thompson.

Hope that helps.
