HAVE I evar shot A gun??? plz, I busted 4 caps on my way to work (or maybe it was work)
M1 Garand Colt 1918 PPSh 41
The Enfield 303 and Colt 45 are the only two military weapons I've fired. Other than that I used to do some target shooting with a Winchester 308 and been hunting with a Ruger Mini-14. Lot's of 22 stuff of course.
Guns I own:
K-98 Kurz, produced in 1940. Hitlers Leibgarde, unmodified chamber. M1 Carbine, .30 carbine Mosin Nagant Model 1891/30 Springfield 1903 modified for 7.62 nato
Got my eye on a Garand but compared to other guns and rifles they're fucking expensive :-/
I'm 16 and I'm a bit addicted to guns. Went to Las Vegas, shot my first gun there (at a shooting range). A .22 revolver, that was when I was 12. I found shooting ranges closer to home (i live in Boston, the range was in NH). There I've shot a Beretta 92FS, Sig Sauer something, Glock 34, and a Savage Model 16 with a scope. I have to say that bolt action is very cool. Next time I go, I'll rent an M1 Carbine and probably another handgun.
I've fired a wide amount of various and unsundry firearms so far. From the M16 to my cousin's Desert Eagle (.38 or .357, can't remember off hand) to my dad's issue Colt .45. Well, at least till they replaced it with the newer 9mm. As for WWII guns, I have to admit to a definate lack of experience with these. I've fired a Moisen Nagant once that my friend owned. Though not enough to get a real good impression of it.
Overall I am very fond of bolt action rifles. And am a fairly good shot with rifles overall. And though I will not shoot myself with a pistol and can hit the target at reasonable ranges, I'm not shooting out eyes at over ten feet or other such trick shoots LOL. Two to the center of mass is about the extent of my pistol skills.
Surprisingly, and very odd considering my Southern roots, I have never fired a shotgun. I've fired a full auto and burst fire weapons and some other oddities and the like, but never even a simple shotgun. Go figure.
Luscious, PPSh 41? Full auto or semi? original 7.62 x25 or .22 (there are some that were redone to shoot .22s) What's the colt 1918? .32?
HB Didn't even think of my Colt (1991A1 - a new production of the original design). Supposedly some Turkish Enfields (WWI battlefield pickups?) are suppose to have been imported.
Kommisar, I was brought up on shotguns and didn't shoot a rifle above .22 til I was in my mid 20s. If you get a chance shoot some skeet or trap. You'll enjoy it. Missouri's Dept of Conservation has shooting ranges, some with skeet and trap. I don't know what your homestate has. Here's a quick list:

get your dad or uncle to take you. It's much more fun that benchrest shooting which is primarily what I do
Various .22LRs, Glock 17, Sig 220, Colt Python, Ruger SP101 (ported...man, the muzzle flash off'a that one...), Remington 700 (.30-06), a Winchester (I think) over-under 12-gauge and the M16A2. I'm pretty sure that's about it. I've been thinking vaguely about picking up a K98, but I can't imagine they're real comfortable to shoot...
I've shot quite a few, but the only WW2 gun I've fired at the range is the Garand. Besides that I've shot... a .22 (duh), various pistols, shotguns, etc... Just generic hunting stuff. (Well not generic, but generic in the sense that they are civilian issue.)
