It was a Chinese knock-off PPSh 41, full auto 7.62 x25. Unbelievable. I have a vivid memory of the very first time I pulled the trigger (this was YEARS ago).

hi i'm new to this forum. hmm, i never fired any of those small arms from WWII b4 coz it's impossible to get/find those in my country, let alone fire them. but i fired m16 (s1, singapore licensed & modified), sar21 (singapore assault rifle), carl gustav 84, rafael spike during my 2 year complusory service in the army.

i fired a thompson 1928 with barrel (just one shot) when i visited my relatives in kansas city 2 years ago.I was 12 and boy was there some feedback.I almost dropped the gun.I also touched several ww2 rifles at an underground nuclear bunker now a museum up north in scotland.I got to hold the mp40 (which is huge), m1 carbine,m1 garrand, enfield no.04, k98,thompson clip,bren gun, sten mk2 i think and i touched a lewis gun from ww1 (couldnt take it off it's stand :uhm: )
I have a AKM, M-N m1944 and a ppsh-41, I have fired them and a ppd34, sks and a ZK383 along with a couple of bolt action rifles namely the M-Nagant M1891.
