i dont like V1.0
They took a lot of the realism out, and its almost liked its aimed to a younger audience now. Icons over players heads, some minimap radar where u can see guys, those stupid annoying popups.
Yes the new models and sounds and maps are great. But gameplay has gone downhill.

ROFL yea those popups are stupid "you have spotted a frendly soldier" "you killede a enemy keep up the good work" "if you deploy your un you will have much better..." <-- like that last one :naughty:

I sure do hope that they didnt take the realism out.
Man, I haven't played DoD in months. Uninstalled halflife and lost the CD! ARGH!
DoD is still my favourvite game though.
Hey Coolguy how did you get DOD v1.0 to work. I've downloaded it and everytime i try to load a LAN game it crashes when the map starts??
I've been to the DOD forums and a lot of people are having the same problem.

uninstal your 3.1 first..
This was a clean install. I also installed the updates to 1110.I have directx 9.0a but some people have also had the problems with Directx 8.1.
