since 1.6 I seem to have lost some of the sounds from the voice commands. (the function buttons radio commands), the writing appears on screen but I can't hear the voices. Has anybody else experianced this or is it just me. Cheers Nickram

Yeah, but even before 1.6, I would call for artillery or ask to attack/defend and Id see the writing but never, hardly ever hear the command...

I think its a BF1942 problem as a whole, not just FH.

ar your sound settings on Hardware acceleration?

Not sure, its set to 44hz and I have a GeForce FX5600 ultra, how would I find out?

The lower your sound settings are, the less stuff you hear.

The hardware acceleration option is in the 2nd page of the sound settings, I think.

Sound settings on 44kHz , High quality, Hardware acceleration on. Still having the same problem, which I never had before 1.6

Out of interest - can't say I can help, but for info it may give a clue.. How many HW sound channels do you have and what's the soundcard?

Its a Nvidia soundstorm (crap I know, but Im thinking of buying an Audigy 2 :D) not sure about the sound channels though.....
