agree once again with Beast of War, especially part about ruin tanking in FH (buts that is offtopic). Mortars should be included indeed

Borussia Long_poI dont think mortars would work cause look at the mortars in EOD no one uses them I tried to but no one would give me a target.

That must have been heavy mortars then.....

But mortars come in more sizes. The smaller ones ( <50 mm ) you use to lob mortar grenades only a few times as far as you could throw a handgrenade in game. They have just about the same damage as a handgrenade too. These will not be guided artillery, and are carried by infantry ( 14 kg according to data, mortar grenades less then 1 kg )

Medium mortars ( >80 mm, 117 kg ) must be carried by vehicles like jeeps, trucks or apc, and dropped/deployed. These can be guided but as the Sherman 105 mm and the Brummbar the not nessesarely need it.

The heavy ones ( >120 mm, 285 kg ) ones have the same function as (fixed) artillery, and generally the same damage. These have to be guided, and can only be transported by trucks or apc. They can be mounted on/in the vehicle aswell as vehicle weaponry.

The heaviets of german mortars were tracked vehicles of hundreds of tons. I'm sure you seen them here and there on the forum.

there's tons of them on gold beach (i think theyr 5 inch). they work like EoD mortars though, so theyr difficult to use. Knee mortars are much more user freindly.

Bayonets... that's the one thing I miss from RTR ... just think when those'll work: bayonet on the arisaka 38/99, bayonet on the type 100 smg and bayonet on the type 96/99 lmg!:yum:

Yes i always loved the Bajonett charge to fight to the last if no ammo are loaded or the the clip is empty?

Hope FH implant it someday in the future? :)

Cheers
