does anybody knew a good book about the sovjet tanks of ww2? a book which desribes all tanks in a short way and have a lot of images would be perfect. i bought the "encyclopedia of german tanks of world war 2" (by peter chamberlain and hilary doyle) some weeks ago and this is fantastic for a short overview with a few in-depth informations. is there any book for sovjet tanks around there, which is structured in this way?

Russian Tanks of World War 2: Stalin's Armoured Might

and its one of the best books about Russian WWII tanks, that I have read.

If you want some info on a few important tank models you might take a look at the Vanguard series: Kv-1 & 2: Heavy Tanks 1939-1945 T-34 Medium Tank 1941-45 T-34-85 Medium Tank 1944-1994 Is-2 Heavy Tank 1944-1973 I have the KV series book and it was very informative. The books aren't long, but have a lot of good images and go into a lot of detail about the history of each vehicle.
