Here it's the model of the Consolidated PBY-5A Catalina. 3800 polygons.

The most famous flying boat of WW II, the PBY Catalina was built in large numbers, and some are still in use today. Its long range made it an excellent reconnaissance aircraft over the world's oceans, as well as the fact that as a flying boat it could land on the water for rescue missions. It could be used as a bomber when other aircraft were unavailable, and Catalinas attacked targets at sea with bombs, depth charges, and even torpedoes.

nice lobo...you made that model pretty fast

my only question is "Why did you make such square looking wings?" I understand DICE uses sqaure-edged wings on some models like the corsair...but if you use this way: http://www.gibbageart.com/wing.htm I'm sure it will make it look way better...oh, and I think Gibbages way of making the wing tips is a little awkward though...I know there is a method where you can loft a spline to make it look realistic...if I find that tutorial I will post it for you...the lofting tutorial is more difficult than the wing tutorial, but well worth the extra effort in my opinion...

I love the back end of the plane though...the smooth lines and transitions look really good...can't wait for the skin...(on the PBY and TBM that is... :naughty: )
