Ok I know the normal Panzer 3 Ausf F. doesn't have this on the back of the turret. But the 50mm version of the Panzer 3 Ausf F. I am not too sure about...
Heres mine: Clicky for mine
I don't recall seeing an actual pic of an Ausf F. with a 50mm cannon, I only read about it. Is the 50mm version I made actually an Ausf. L then and I should add that back portion?
Actually I do think the Ausf. L looks better with that part on ;o).
That's a box used to store ammo.
I think that was added later in the war (41/42?) and in the beggining, the tanks came out the factories without that box, that was added later. Then it became standard issue.
But i don't know the exact dates; on some maps the tanks can't have that box. The french invasion ones, for instants.
Hey, nice model, i like light tanks. (maybe you could make the m24 chaffee too, plz )
Seems like it's a container to store the ammo shells in, i would keep it on the tank.
It's "Rommel's Case" (Ausf.G-Ausf.N)
So did a 50mm version of the Panzer 3 Ausf F exist? Or is it an Ausf L?
Cause if it's an Ausf L I need to add that ammo box....
Your half Cuban Jackal? I am 90% Mexican with some cajun thrown in.
The Aus F did exist it had its 37mm main gun convereted to 50mm in late 1940 thourgh 1942 . It also got 30 extra millimeters of bow and superstructure the AUS G got 30mm of armor on the lower hull sorry for the mixup.
