I once saw a plane coming down (after a kill) and fading away before it touched the ground. Is this by design ? I really wouldn't mind having a wreck lying on the ground for at least a minute after a kill.
Would it be possible to even have the wreck lying there forever, by modelling some low-poly-one-color-no-textures wrecks for planes, tanks etc replacing the current wreck-models ? Even a burned-black-spot on the ground would be beter than those fading ghost....
Imagine wake island covered with tank, plane and apc-wrecks ;)
Well also imagine the lag caused by this ;)
Even low poly ones would add up quickly on some maps, the bodies staying a long time is creating enough problems as it is ;)
Although burned spots on the ground...now there's a thought....hmmm....
