again...indiana jones movie's are not hystorically accurate, i recommend that you do your research in libraries.
no one made the claim that Indiana Jones was a good source of WWII historical accuracy.. that would be a very silly claim to make..
had you read my posts carefully, you perhaps would have noticed that i state/imply, many times, this very fact..
Yeah i prefer to get my info from people that i run into on the street:rolleyes: .
Besides which, the basic idea of this thread was that, "IF there were zeppelins in some capacity during the war, it would be interesting to have a map where you see one in the skies," something along those lines. Only if it had some historical merit, which Pulse never said it did.
The blimp thing is more of an idea for the trenchrats mod.
noticed you got my name changed.. thanks Vanthem :bows:
No problem. I sent a message to June and she switched it over for ya. :agreed:
Im pretty sure zepplins will not be in trench rats, this coming from a team member as myself...but who knows, you have to get it to see, and without more support, trench rats may not be...(hey, i rhymed!)
Also, zepplins have historical merit in the BoB, like I said...so please think about it!
Correction:There is a chance for zepplins...as we have made anti-zepplin rockets ;)
Well i didn't mean actual blimps... i meant the observation balloons.
the japs had some balloon thing... it was equipped with bombs but made very little damage... and it was supposed to counter the success of the americans! :)
Yeah, they released small (unmanned) blimps filled with explosives. The air currents took them to America. They were supposed to hit American citys. But only a wife and 2 kids died. But they were also the cause of mutiple unnacounted forrest fires in America.
