FIrstly to the admin, sorry if this is considered as warez, I wasnt sure about it..
About a week ago I was forced to clean my PC completely, everything off, I went into the Battlefield case to find no booklet, I looked around but cant find it anywhere. :(
I have BF installed on my laptop, but i've tried putting it into a zip file and sending it too my PC but it doesnt work, soooo the only thing I can think of doing is finding out my CD key from my laptop, and using it again.
I know some of you might be thinking this sounds a bit iffy but I do legally own the game, I just need a way to find out my CD KEY :uhm:
Not much proof but here are my two disks to prove I own the game:
Any help appreciated, Daniel
Go into the laptop Registry. Start/Run/Regedit Then go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Electronic Arts/EA Games/Battlefield 1942/ergc
On the right hand column you will see a tab called 'Data' directly under that tab your cd key will be displayed.
Please get back to us if you get stuck.
I've done that, but theres a wierd CD key, not the one I remember entering when installing, which was 4500 at the beginning, the one there is something like 0901
Go download this little proggy & run the .exe. It will tell you your cd key. :nodding: THIS IS NOT A KEY GENERATOR. Only a way to manage multiple keys.
I still get the 0901 key which isnt the one I entered before format, guess i'll have to buy the game again....for the third f#c*!ng time :(
does the 0901 key work? have you tried tech support from EA?
that game is an illegal copy. Who gave you it? better tell EA if you know the person who gave it to you:D
I dont, the one on my laptop is the same version as the one on my PC was, but I installed using the CD KEY with my game.
I tried emailing EA support about 5 times but no anwser
