I have bfvietnam and bf1942. Whenever I play, I get little freeze points that last about ten seconds so when ever I'm in a battle of flying and it happens I'm sure to die. I have about 658mb of RAM, a geforce fx 5200, and I changed my virtual memory from 1286 to 4096 (that helps a little, but there's no big diff.) I have my videos settings for the games all the way up. Even when there all the way down, I still get little freeze points. The only time this doesn't happen is on fast servers that have about ten people in them with a total ping of 47 or 64. I really hate this and I want some help on how to get rid of it.
So is this happpening online or also in single player mode?
i have mine at med-low you may want to turn the graphics down
I said it still does it when the graphics are down, just not as often. And yes it does it in singleplayer and multiplayer.
I think it might be something wrong with my PC. It freezes then trys to catch up with itself. Yes it's lag, but in an odd way.
I think it is not right forum...
Check your internet connection there are programs that checks your connections. There may be some freeze-points.
Geeze,I have no idea what it could be. Maybe a program running in the background? When is the last time you checked for spyware? Ah something else...When was the last time you defragged your HDD? I dunno...
How do I check for spyware and how do I defrag my HDD?
Check your accesories group...
What? Yea I know, I'm not too smart about this stuff.
