Cheap: Radeon 9600xt or its Nvidia counter parts medium: Radeon 9800xt or its Nvidia counter parts Expensive: Radeon X600 to X850XTPE or its Nvidia counter parts Note: By Sapphire Cards they are cheaper and just about as good as the expensive Brands, for the 9800xt by HIS It is extremly good at overclocking course of the cooling Note 2: Buy cards with atleast 256mb of ram Note 3: Be aware of that the Expensive cards allso comes in a PCI-e edition. question: what type of graphic card do you got now?

Your system specs are required if you really want help. Also a screenshot of exactly what you mean. It may simply be the effects caused by AA and if that is the case you can't change it except by turning of AA.

you don't need all that to play bf1942, i played with no lag using onboard geforce graphics and 512mb of memory. I had a friens with a 9200 radeon that didn;t get much lag either. The graphics in 1942 are all blocky and crappy anyway. Now BF2 is aonther story... Also you don;t need a card with 256mb of ram. I have a sapphire ATI radeon 9800PRO 128MB card and I play BF2 on high graphics settings with AA@2x and it never lags, even on 64 player servers. Of course the 1GB of DDR and the AMD 3000+ 2.1GhZ processor kind of help.
